Our Goal
This course covers the basics of treating sex addicts. An overview of the trauma model of treatment, neurochemistry, recovery plans, and many more topics are covered in this two day training. This course provides a good overview of the treatment process. Reading the following books prior to attending will help you get the most out of the course:

Richard Blankenship
Dr. Mark Richardson, D. Min, CPSAS. Mark is a leader of Faithful and True men's groups, a division of the North Atlanta Center for Christian Counseling. He holds a doctorate in Ministry, as well as a Master of Arts degree in both Christian Counseling Psychology and in Ministry. He has more than twenty-five years of ministerial experience and is working with us as a group facilitator. Mark is married and has two sons.
Richard Blankenship, LPC, NCC, CCSAS

Richard Blankenship currently directs the North Atlanta Center for Christian Counseling and Faithful & True – Atlanta; a program for male addicts, female addicts, spouses, and couples in recovery. Richard is the president and executive director of the American Association of Certified Christian Sexual Addiction Specialists (AACCSAS). He developed the first graduate course to be taught on sexual addiction with Dr. Mark Laaser and guest lectures in a variety of courses. Richard is a frequent guest on radio and television shows in the Atlanta area dealing with sexual addiction, coaddiction, spiritual abuse, and domestic violence. He is the author of the LIFE guide for young men, S.A.R.A.H. (Spouses of Addicts Rebuilding and Healing), Spouses of Sex Addicts: Hope for the Journey, and the LIFE Guide for Couples. Richard holds two masters degrees; an M.Ed. from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and an M.A. from Harding University Graduate School of Theology Richard is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with the state of Georgia, a nationally certified counselor (NCC) with the national board of certified counselors, and a certified clinical sexual addiction specialist (CCSAS). He is married with two children and has practiced with churches and counseling centers for almost 25 years.

Hotel information
Travellers may be able to get their rooms at a discount rate of $85 per night under our ministry. When they call to book their rooms they must tell the hotel that they want to register under the Labourers For Christ room block and add a special note: Sexual Addictions Training.
Rooms are limited. When we fill up this hotel we may be able to get another rate for the Double Tree. The other option is that they can choose the hotel on their own as well.
